Our students and staff pour heart and soul into costumes, makeup, stage setting, lighting and rehearsals so that they may deliver a high-quality and delightful performance for family and friends.
The story behind Mary Poppins comes from author P.L. Travers’s books, inspired by her stern but whimsical great-aunt, and involves an unusual nanny arriving by wind to transform the dysfunctional Banks family in Edwardian London. Through teaching lessons, fantastical adventures she helped Mr. Banks value family over his profession, a narrative later adapted into the famous musical, exploring themes of imagination, discipline, and familial love.
