Overview

Harford Christian School has enjoyed an excellent academic reputation since the school’s founding in 1966. Our devoted and professional staff members approach the task of Christian education with enthusiasm. The scope and sequence of the curriculum is founded upon a comprehensive biblical worldview, culminating in a broad and diverse high school offering of courses in English, math, science, Bible and foreign language.

K-3rd Grade

Early Childhood

Early Childhood education at Harford Christian School is designs to make the first school experiences positive ones. Our early childhood team is nurturing yet skillful in laying a strong academic foundation for future learning

4th-6th Grades

Intermediate

Intermediate education at HCS begins to introduce more academic rigor in preparation for middle level and high school instruction. Increasing levels of higher thinking skills are introduced and developed by a team of devoted teachers, who often team-up to provide specialized instruction in the curricular areas.

7th-8th Grades

Middle Level

Adolescent years are often the most socially challenging years for young people.  The HCS middle school team is uniquely equipped to instruct and biblically shepherd junior-high-aged students.  Guiding these students to positive peer pressure, thoughtful speech and actions, and progress towards maturity compliment the expert academic instruction received  from our staff.

9th-12th Grades

High School

The four-year transcript of a graduating senior often makes implications for college/university acceptance and scholarships.  HCS is blessed to enjoy an outstanding reputation for academically preparing its graduates.  Extensive programs in math, science, and technology round out a robust academic course offering for 9th-12th grade students.  Extracurricular opportunities in the arts, athletics, and academics serves the goal of developing the whole child.  Our graduates continue to affirm their outstanding preparation for the college and/or university experience.
