HCS uses Land’s End for uniform purchases for grades 1 – 12. K-4 and K-5 may wear their play clothes.
Harford Christian office affordable transportation by van or bus service. Over the summer, routes are determined by our transportation director and families will be contacted with pickup places and times.
HCS has a spring formal event for senior high students. This event is typically held at a local banquet venue and provides wholesome opportunities for students to develop social graces while enjoying one another’s company. HCS staff are well-represented at the formal banquet.
In June, July and August, our campus is buzzing with activity as students have fun with purpose. Students engage in wholesome, vigorous activities. It is a great time to get acquainted. The camps are run by our staff and include Bible, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Fine Arts, STEM and Chess Camps. Registration opens in February.
Students will have opportunities for educational field trips to DC, Virginia, New York and Philadelphia. International travel is also available for students enrolled in foreign language classes.
We offer year-round rolling enrollment and easy transfers. Our staff is very hands-on and welcoming and our students have a reputation for being friendly and welcoming.
HCS prioritizes being biblically correct rather than being politically correct. Political correctness in our culture often runs contrary to God’s instruction regarding purity until marriage, same-sex attraction, God-ordained biological identity, and the teaching of history. We are committed to Christian worldview in all things.
While a percentage of our graduates enter the trades or the military, the majority are entering two-year or four-year continuing education programs. We encourage our graduates to strongly consider continuing their education at a Christian college or university. Students are not permitted to carry cell phones or communication devices during the school day. Our classrooms are equipped with BenQ instructional technology and our technology education subscribes to a scope and sequence that has an HCS graduate very competent in both Office 365 and Google platforms. Additional computer electives are offered in programming, advanced Excel, and design.
